BRRRRRR, Honey, it's cold outside!...
Back in the Saddle and Project Update

I seem to have lost a day, and didn't post my follow-up photos of the Dining Room Table Project. Voila! The finished article!

You might find the following projects interesting as well. When we moved into this house, last May, the entire inside had to be painted. The kitchen and dining room became my palette, and what great fun it was. As a result of our 2 years in France, and the colorful influence it had, I decided to bring those vivid colors to life. The kitchen walls were rag painted with a combination of gold and beige, and trimmed in a rich red color. Then, my beloved French waiter, Pierre came to life.

The living room walls are a shade of off white, so I brought a bit of color in by stripping, painting and stenciling our entertainment armoire.

It wasn't long before I was looking kinda funny at the bedroom furniture. So........ I stripped, painted and stenciled it all to match the pale blue walls.

Prior to its new look, our dear four poster bed was looking pretty worse for the wear, from all the global moving.

FR TONY UPDATE

This morning he was feeling fit as a fiddle, and again went into work at the church office. He had his usual granola for breakfast, and for lunch he had a nice "fry up" of eggs, chips (fries), sourdough toast, chopped apples and a bit of Brie Cheese. He put in a few hours at work, again today. This afternoon he started back on the 4 day round of steroids. He doesn't much like taking them, as sleep becomes a challenge.

This afternoon he's relaxing watching Narnia, and cleaning his collection of walking sticks. Yes! Cleaning!!! All in all, we couldn't be more pleased with how well he's doing. God is good!

It's quite cold outside today. Brrrrrr. I purchased a new oil filled heater for the basement room, where I spend most of my days, and it works very well! The kids will be most appreciative, since they get the pleasure of sleeping down here.

Our Megan arrives in a few short hours. Must finish getting things ready for her arrival. Geeee, There's too much banging and clanging going on upstairs! Must close for now.
