IMAGES FROM BANGKOK... and
FR. TONY UNDERGOING ROUND TWO CHEMO

Megan is doing well, although still suffering from a serious bout of jet lag. She begins work today/tomorrow (or, whenever the day begins in Thailand). The directress of BBP is quite impressed with our Megan. All seems to be going very well, though I WOULD BE happier mom if Megan would avoid the back alleys of Mae Sot!
I've got my old webcam and mic hooked up, and hope to soon catch her on line. Would love to see her face! Soon, I'll have blog input from Megan, about her journey so far. So, do keep an eye out for upcoming posts.
FR. TONY AT THE CANCER CENTER THIS MORNING
GULP.... big morning. Fr. Tony is sitting patiently while they stuff his veins with steroids, bendryl and saline, in preparation for the Rituximab... the new poison being used to fight the Waldenstroms. All being well, he will not have a reaction (drop in blood pressure, and/or allergic reaction) to the new poison, and by the end of the day he'll have this behind him. Unfortunately, Tony's a bit nervous after reading all the "possible" side affects of Retuximab. Silly man! Care Partners will arrive some time today to hook him up to his other chemo, then he returns home for the 4 day infusion. Please, please keep him in your prayers at this time.
That's all for now. Must get on with disinfecting the house... and cleaning.... before m'dear hubby comes home. Much love to you all, PitterPat
