Wednesday... thinking Thursday... Friday Coming:

The week has been a bit of a blur! Yesterday was Wednesday, but I'd have told you all day that it was Thursday! I even put the trash out front!!! The trash men don't come till Friday. Geeeez Must have too much going on in the brain matter.

Fr. Tony Update:

You'll be pleased to know Fr. Tony has felt well enough to be at work this week. He put in his office hours, getting much done for all that's coming. He's still not feeling quite up to par, but feeling a bit better none the less. It's obvious the medications he's taking are not helping matters. He's up and down throughout the day, but his appetite seems to be back, and aside from the puffiness around his eyes, I think he'll manage.

Crossing Paths and Thank Yous:

Before I forget, I have to dole out a few thank yous...

For those of you keeping us in your daily prayers, we cannot thank you enough. Fr. Tony and I feel truly blessed that you would take the time to keep us in your hearts. We know we can endure anything, with you all by our side.

Dan Crawford brought us some homemade beef stew and chili. Just what the doctor ordered! Thank you Dan!

Irene Muffley for her kindness and care. She's been so very attentive, and calls often to see how we're doing. Thank you Irene!

Dorothy Skidmore brought us a lovely plate of Christmas baked goodies! Yum! Thank you Dorothy!

Alice Frost brought us a Pub Lunch last week. Very nice change of pace, and oh so good! Thank you Alice!

Ann Pahl delivered some wonderful homemade Turkey Soup and fresh bread, for dinner the other night. Best Turkey soup either of us had ever eaten! Hit the spot! Thank you Ann!

Beth (not sure which one) gave me a Starbucks card... YAY! Thank you Beth

Carol Beall also gave me a Starbucks card..... I'm a happy camper! Thank you Carol

God Bless Him.... Fr. Swift paid us a visit, as he often does, but our paths crossed and we missed him this week. He's been a faithful servant, and very attentive. Thank you SO very much Fr. Swift.

Fr. Jenks, who has so graciously stepped in when we needed a priest on Sunday mornings. His humor and kind hearted nature are a blessing to us all! Thank you Fr. Jenks!!!

Fr. Kirk has brought Tony communion a couple of times, and we greatly appreciate his care. Many thanks, Fr. Kirk.

Bishop Klusmeyer popped in this week to check on Tony. He's been wonderful, and so very supportive. Thank you +Mike.

Our Very Dear friend, Bishop Raymond Hanlan, calls regularly to check on his old buddy, Tony... it's always grand to hear from him. He and Tony go back a looong way.

Thank you to John Beall, Al Prichard, and all the servers, acolytes, choir and altar guild, for your hard work and dedication. It's thanks to your care and dedication that Becket continues to grow, thrive and move forward.

Bishop Black who has continued to be on call and ready to leap into action on Sunday mornings, if Tony's not feeling up to par. Bishop Black is a true and loyal friend of Becket Parish, and his cheerful disposition and humor are a blessing to all.

Several folks have continued to send emails and cards in the mail. THANK YOU ALL!!!

AND an especially big Thank you to Cheryl+ in Charleston, WV. She and her parish vestry decided they would contribute their Christmas Offering to Megan and her work abroad. THIS MEANS SO VERY MUCH TO US. Thank you Cheryl and the parish in Charleston!!!

If I've left you out... please don't be offended... the brain is a bit on overload at the moment.

Exquisitely beautiful fabric, new from Robert Kaufman:

Just had to share this with my artsy/craftsy friends. I found a new fabric.. to die for! The designer is Peggy Toole, and the fabric design is called Florentine. Below is a sneak peek. If you want to see the other designs in the line, simply click on "Robert Kaufman" above.

Is that not simply gorgious?

CABBEYGO:

Most excellent and exciting news! Abbey and Lee got the apartment in downtown Raleigh, and it is fantastic! We're so thrilled for the two of them. PLUS, Abbey has made the Raleigh Roller Derby Team. She'll begin practicing with them this week. I'm sure she's going to be quite "BUFF", in a very short period of time.

Abbey and Lee will be joining us for Christmas. We're very much looking forward to seeing them.

MEGABROAD

Megan's been blogging again. You can see her latest journal entry by CLICKING HERE. She's been journaling and adding photos to her website. I won't go into detail about what she's been up to, but instead will let you enjoy reading and viewing it yourself.

As you all know, we've been continuing to try and raise money to help support her during her 8 months of volunteer work. Fortunately, the exchange rate is excellent, thus surviving in Thailand doesn't cost quite as much, but we still need your caring donations. If you'd like to donate towards Megan's volunteer work with the Burmese/Myanmar refugee children, we would greatly appreciate it. Please know that your donations are tax deductable, (contact us for more information) if you like. Every little bit helps, and no donation is too small. If you'd like to make a quick donation, you can visit our Clavier Family Blog site, and find a link on the right hand side of the page. Thank you so very much, in advance.

Must close... have procrastinated long enough, and there's much to do. I know there was more to add, but it has promptly left my addled brain. Love to you all! PitterPat
