HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAROOOO!!

Well, our Megan is turning 23 tomorrow (actually today, in Thailand). To celebrate the big event, her new Thai friend, who happens to own a local tea shop, is closing up early and having a "girls night" with Megan, watching movies and having a fun evening together. Oh, how I wish I were there to give her a big hug.
Fr. Tony Update: Month Long Chemo Cycle Now Over:
The fever has now subsided, and the month of Rituxan therapy has passed. YAY! Fr. Tony's feeling fine. Yesterday he stayed at the church for part of the Women's Retreat, and today he's taking both services and MCing the Annual Parish Meeting. (ugh.. always a treat! grin). Tomorrow he leaves for NYC, with mask in hand. I shall try not to worry.
Fr. Tony has arrived safely in NYC, and will be attending the NNECA Board Meeting. All's well so far, except that he forgot one of his major medications. Hrumph. Fortunately, the highway between here and Pittsburgh was cleared of all the snow, but it was a bit foggy.
Got Snow?
It wasn't snowing when I left for church, but by the time I stopped to get coffee to go, the snow had begun to accumulate. Making my way accross the hilly countryside to church, the roads began to get slippery. Once the parish meeting was over, most were trapped at the church! A few managed a brave escape, while others found themselves playing bumper cars on the steep hill leading down to the road below the church. Fortunately, I have 4WD and was able to get Fr. Tony home safe and sound.
Lovin' the winter wonderland. Night all, Pitterpat
