BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE!
Brrrrrrr.... it's mighty cold outside, here in Morgantown, WV. 21 degrees Fahrenheit, but it sure feels like 20 below! It's been snowing off and on for the past week. This morning the sky was clear as a bell, and the sun was just coming up, while a full moon loomed over the horizon to the west. Quite stunning, actually. Wished I had my camera batteries charged so I could share the sight with you.
Earlier today I had to get the car warmed up for Tony. With the bitter temps outside, it took me a good 10 minutes to simply get the car door un-stuck... frozen shut! Fortunately, I got it open, warmed up the car and made sure the snow plow fellow made his way up to the church, clearing the steep driveway. Fr. Tony had a meeting to attend this morning, and managed to make it home safe and sound.
FR. TONY UPDATE:
Next week we head back to the cancer center for labwork, and to check in with Dr. Craig. We can't believe it's been about 3 weeks since we were last there. My, how time flies. Hopefully the results will show what we suspect is good news... the numbers are behaving themselves. Aside from an odd earache and numbness in his feet, he's been doing fine since his last round of chemo.
CHICSY BAGS:

Hmmm, still pondering a name for the handbags. I'm trying on "Chicsy" for size. This reminds me of when it was time to come up with names for my daughters. I read through legions of names, would pick a couple of them out, and within a month was completely tired of them... (Abbey Christina and Megan Ashley) and had to start from square one! Fortunately, I've never grown tired of the names I gave them, and hope they never do either. grin
All in all it's been a fairly lazy day of fabric sorting, fighting with computer program, cutting out messenger bag pattern, and trying to get knitted/crochet bag finished so I can felt it. Unfortunately, I underestimated the size I was making the bag to begin with, and now it's taken on a life of its own! Hrumph!!

I think a nice cup of hot chocolate is in order. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
Much love and a big hug, PitterPat
