Invoking the spirit of PollyAnna

"My father said don't let's be gloomy. Let's try to find something to be glad about. So we made a game of it, the glad game."
Having raised my daughters watching Mills films like POLLYANNA, one can't help but reflect back on her sunny little disposition. So, today's theme is PollyAnna's positive attitude.
Yesterday was a whirlwind of emotions, gathering information, attempting to get said information clarified, and scheduling of the biopsy. In the midst of it all, I received an email from the Director of the anesthesia department, expressing her support and offering to make sure we get the best possible care for Tony, while he's in surgery. So, she's volunteered to be his anethetist.
It's those little rays of sunshine that poke through the dark days.
Tony's scheduled to have his biopsy on the 16th of March. No, we're not pleased we have to wait so long, but we shall manage. Monday we meet with the anesthetists to finalize all the pre op paperwork. The scheduler for the surgeon has assured us that if a patient cancels surgery, Tony will be bumped into that time slot. So.... everyone begin praying for a blizzard to hit the area after Monday. Bad weather could possibly be the one thing that would enable that slot we're hoping for to open up. grin
Yes, we're concerned about the new possible issues at hand, but we're in excellent hands. Between Dr. Sivak, Dr. Bradford, Anne Hacket, Pamela, Dorothy, our Dr. Craig, and all the friends and family behind us, we're in extremely good hands. Everyone possible is working in concert to make sure all goes well and we get to the bottom of what's currently ailing our beloved Tony. We certainly couldn't ask for better, and feel so very honored and blessed to have these kind and caring folks on our side.
Thank you all for all your love, care, dedication, and prayers you keep sending our way.
Today is chasuble day. I've managed to wait till the last possible moment to get this thing done. So, must run and do some seam ripping of old chasuble, and create a new one out of this lovely linen and silk. All being well, you should see our dear Tony hobbling to the altar in his new duds tomorrow.
Have a great day, and keep warm.
