Can't sleep... figured I would blog...

Good news.... we don't have to drive to NW Ohio!!! YAY!!!!

Bad news... must wake up at 4am and drive to Clarksburg (45 min away). ugh

More bad news... Starbucks isn't open at 4am!

Why the good news? Daughter's X boyfriend's uncle just happened to be making a run to Clarksburg and offered to take the cats with him, but he'll be there at 5:30am. Ah well... I should be back in time for morning tea with Tony, and a long nap.

Nothing new on the Fr. Tony side of things, except that today was one of those "steroids wearing off" bad days. Tomorrow should be a good day again.

Trying not to get stressed and anxious about upcoming biopsy and test results. Ohhhh, the waiting is horrid when the mind won't shut off. I want so to make it all go away for Tony, and can't seem to make it happen.

Got a B+ on my test covering the first three chapters in Math for Meds.

Got an A on my Medical Terminology test.

Had an interesting thought on my way home from school. With all these doctors and professors in town.... and one never runs into them in the grocery store.... When do they shop? Where do they shop? If they work as hard as our Dr. C, then I can understand why I don't see them shop, unless they do their shopping after midnight. This got me to thinking... wouldn't it be great for folks like them to have a shopping service? I mean, someone that would do their shopping for them. Must look into this further.... Thoughts? Anyone? (yes, these crazy ideas pop up at the oddest times, but must cover my back side in case the school decides not to accept me for the LPN program in the fall).

As my gmail isn't piling up with orders for vestments, grin, must move on to next hair brained idea.

Picked up another bottle of my beta blockers, so blood pressure should get back under control. Hrumph.

Watched Babel tonight... eh... jumped all over the place, but tied everything together in the end... though the end was a bit depressing. Must watch a comedy tomorrow!

Woodworking class is going well. Only problem is there's another person in the class whose there to use the lathe, so I now have to share. sigh This week, as it was my off week, I decided I'd build Tony a book shelf. So, I schlepped on over to Lowes and bought enough Aspen wood to make the bookshelf. Let me tell you..... I could buy 4 decent book shelves for the cost of "making" one! To justify the cost, I'm going to have to really do a fine job on this project.

Now have another new project for the off lathe nights. I'm going to make a couple of cat trees. Should be fun. So, if any of you local folks have some scrap carpeting.... I can put it to good use.

Ah, well.... must try to sleep... 4am will be here early.

Guess it's too late to tell you to ignore any funky spacing that might come through on this blog. Too tired to spend hours making sure every bit of the blog is coming through correctly.
