Fr. Tony Update: 67th Year Has Begun
Today started out very early, as we had to be to the cancer center by 8am. Labs were drawn and a long wait began. 10:30am, Tony cold, achy and wanting to go home, but we finally get to see the oncologist. Doc assures us Tony will be feeling better in a few days, and these first couple rounds of chemo were the worst. From this point out, they "should be" better... not so much fever, aches, etc. As you can see from the photo below, Tony's looking "proper poorly" by the end of the morning. THE GOOD NEWS... One of the lab results (cancer related) that our oncologist has been working toward getting lowered with the chemo, has dropped in HALF! This is very good news! Although Tony's had a rough time of it these past few weeks, I'm very enthusiastic about the latest results. So, keep on God Bothering!!!

Tonight Tony had his biggest meal in a couple of weeks: roast chicken, baked potato, salad and ice cream birthday cake. I want all of you to know how much it has meant to him, getting all the wonderful cards, ecards, and little notes telling him how much he means to you. Your kindness and care have done wonders. Thank you all!
This weekend the bishop will be here, and we look forward to his visit. Several will be confirmed, and there will be a dinner Saturday night. Hopefully Tony will be rested and up to the festivities. Guess I'd better get the house clean!
Has been a very long day, between Dr. Visit, school, etc. Must sleep. Nite all! Pitterpat
