Megan Update:

So far so good! Megan left Morgantown last Saturday, heading west, with her tubs of belongings, my bike, and $400 to her name. Oh to be young and ambitious. :c)

Along the way, she's stayed with friends in Chicago.... and fell in love with the city. Next stop Sioux Falls, South Dakota to stay with a college girlfriend, and visit with old friends. Her next stop was with a couple whose son went to school at Augustana. They graciously offered to put her up for the night. She then left excitedly for Salt Lake City, where she was to meet up with Clay, her boyfriend. Of course, she also fell in love with Salt Lake City, but I don't think she realizes how many unusual limitations there might be living in SLC. Megan and Clay are now heading up to Seattle to visit with and meet Clay's mom. From there she'll head south for Portland to start a new chapter in her life.

To date Megan's been unable to secure housing or work, so if any of you live (or know of someone living) in the Portland area, please do pass this information on. Megan will have to hit the ground running, doing odd jobs or part time work, to build up her piggy bank. Any and all leads would be most helpful.

This mom is trying to establish a network for our Megan as she'll be so far from home. Thank you in advance.
