Fr. Tony Update:

Well, Fr. Tony is now in Western NC visiting with Mark+, Diane, Paul (grandson), and several friends. I sent him off to NC for a bit of distraction from the constant thoughts and worry over the Stem Cell Transplant that lies ahead.

Low and behold, our Tony found a way (unintentionally) to add a little bit of stress to his day. See image below. :)

After spending the morning getting ready to head up to the cabin, where Mark, Paul and Fr. Tony would be spending the night, Tony left for the cabin as an afternoon downpour of rain blew through the area. Somewhere along the way a deer "came out of no where" and smashed into the front of the car, then up onto the windshield... shattering it to bits. Tony survived the confrontation, though a bit shaken by the event. Within an hour of the accident, we had an appointment scheduled with our insurance company to have the windshield replaced next Tuesday.

Though their nice relaxing get-away to the cabin was a bit delayed, eventually they got to the cabin. Hopefully the evening has been less eventful!
