Monday Morning:
Am moving a bit slowly this a.m. I suspect I may be coming down with something as my head hurts and I think I may have been running a low grade fever last night. Feelin' kinda cruddy. Dr. appt at 10:50am to get myself checked out. ugh
Most excellent news: CAROLINA VS BAY AREA
As some may recall, I announced the big bout between Carolina Rollergirls (ranked 4th in the country) and (#1 Ranked) Bay Area Derby Girls. Well, Carolina won the bout! Sounds like Carolina also experienced some bumps and bruises from the not-so-legal antics of the Bay Area team. Won't do! Our Abbey is pleased as peaches. Wish we could have been there to see her skate.
Christmas will soon be upon us, although one would think it's here as you stroll through any retail establishment in the area. Tis a shame we can't enjoy the true seasons of the year, without the retailers mucking them all up. Unfortunately, it looks like the girls won't be able to make it home for Christmas this year. USPS will have to play Santa for us during the 12 Days.
Today's plan:
- Get Tony up and walking more
- Continue working on his excellent breathing progress
- Have wound care specialist pay a visit
- Finish sweater
Tomorrow our Dr. Craig will be back on the floor! YAY!
