EYE OF NEWT and BAT WHISKERS
aka
The Orange Cocktail

We arrived at hospital and were sent directly to the 9th floor, where things swiftly got underway. Jason, the PICC man, came and inserted the PICC line. XRays were taken, along with vitals. The oncologist showed up to have a chat with us, and we were handed more papers to review, with all the lovely things you like to read about.... like... the possible side affects of the evil cocktail that'll be flowing through Tony's veins.

Lunch arrived, and they're not off to a good start! Can you imagine... serving a Brit "iced" tea? OY! Lunch consisted of salad, rice krispie coated chicken breast, long dead peas and an anemic looking pile of macaroni and cheese! Me thinks I'll have to bring some decent food to him!

The doc says Tony should be starting chemo around 2pm today. He'll be released to go home on Saturday afternoon, or evening.

I'm home, picking up some essentials.... pillows, PJs, laptop, CDs, and most importantly, our tea pot, kettle, and cups! He'll do much better with his tea!

Fr. Tony is in Ruby Memorial Hospital, on the 9th floor, room 928B. He can receive calls ( 304-285-7999) and visitors, but if you're ill, or think you could possibly be ill, please call instead of stopping by. We're not sure how he'll respond to the chemo, so it might be good to check with me before heading down for a visit.

If you'd like to send flowers/plants to cheer up the room, they can be sent to Fr. Anthony Clavier, Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

Must finish rounding up stuff, get the parrots back in their cages, sort out the dogs, and head back to hospital.

Will check back in this evening.
Our love to you all
