Ahhhh, the post chemo fever strikes again:

Figured we wouldn't go a week following chemo without the expected fever surfacing. Yesterday Fr. Tony was feeling on top of the world. This morning he's feeling like he's carrying the world on his shoulders, and running a fever that (so far) has topped out at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks to a combination of Tylenol and Ibuprofin, we're keeping it at bay.

WV Parson has been blogging:

In case you've not visited Fr. Tony's blog lately, you can see how he keeps busy when he's not busy with local parish commitments, by CLICKING HERE. Fr Tony's quite a gifted writer, as well as Anglican to the core, so a regular visit will keep you in the Anglican/Episcopal loop.

Women's Retreat This Weekend:

This weekend there'll be a women's retreat at St. Thomas a Becket Episcopal Church. So far we've got 20+ women attending. If you live in the area, please plan to join us.

Women's Retreat planned for Jan 20, 9:00am - 2:00pm at St. Thomas à Becket. The Rev. Donald Krickbaum will lead the retreat with prayer, meditation, quiet time, and Eucharist. Please bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and continental breakfast provided. A $5.00 fee is requested to cover some of Rev. Krickbaum's expenses. Please contact the church office if you're interested in joining us.

LION BRAND YARN GOES GREEN:

"Experience the soft, pure feeling of the all-natural yarn. Lion Organic Cotton is grown in four naturally occurring shades (no dyes are used to create the colors) and free from herbicides, pesticides and other agro-chemicals. It is also super soft, easy to work with and perfect for all sorts of projects. And that is good for you -- and for the environment"

Am looking forward to giving this new cotton a try.

Fr. Tony's formidable mum you hear so much about. God rest her soul.

Fr. Tony's Dad. God rest his soul.

Ohhh, the good ole days of high school. NOT! Ah, well... the hard work of being on a drill team managed to get me thin, for a brief span of years in my life.

AND with a tan, no less. Sadly, the days of tanning are long gone, thanks to the lifelong battle to prevent more skin cancer.

Hope you enjoy the few photos I found, while browsing through some old CDs. It was fun reminiscing about days gone by.

Ah, well... must get off my duff and get some work done. Much love to you all, PitterPat
