6 Days and Counting

and what a beautiful day it is... sunny, moderate temps, and a steady breeze blowing. The sky is bright blue, and leaves are beginning to change.

In less then a week we'll be sitting with the oncologist, probably huddled in front of a computer screen, staring at foreign looking terms and numbers, that will tell us what "stage" Tony's disease is at. Ohhhh, if only one could live life as an ostrich!

Am feeling fairly icky today, as the result of what I figure is a good ole fashioned case of bronchitis. I suppose I should pay a visit to the G.P., and get some meds to whip this thing out of me. Goodness knows I don't want to pass it on to Tony. He's already exhausted from the battle raging inside of his self.

Our neighboring priest from Fairmont paid Fr. Tony a visit this morning. We chatted over a nice cup of breve, while Ruby and the rest of our feathered flock churped, chatted and squawked in the background.

We have a balloon rally this weekend, might be a nice remedy to a bit of cabin fever that's setting in. Our dear friend Daniel is going to take us on a boat ride. Tony's always greatly loved being near or on the water. This will be medicine for the soul.

More in a bit.... I feel a nap coming on
