Family Invasion! YAY!
This weekend is going to be very wonderful! The children are arriving! Megan, Philip and Mark will be joining us, and Tony couldn't be more pleased! It's been at least a decade since Mark and Pipp have been together, with their dad!
Fr. George Moses took the service yesterday. It was nice to be at church, surrounded by so many, who care so much, about myself and our Tony. With the outpouring of support, concern and well wishes, we'll surely manage. Yet again, God has clearly had a hand in putting us in a good place.
The iPod Fund:
With the thought of chemo and a lot of "down time" ahead, we've decided Fr. Tony should have an iPod. Aside from his family, there are two things he cherishes most; books and music. With an iPod, we can load him up with enough classical music, movies and audio books to help pass some of the more difficult times ahead. We've started an iPod fund, for anyone wishing to contribute to the cause. Anyone interested in chipping in, please drop an email to Jeanne, at stabchurch@gmail.com
e-Sunday School:
While at church yesterday, it hit me... We should use our instant messenger programs, and a webcam, to link up Fr. Tony with his Sunday school class! Fr. Tony can sit in his recliner, or his study, and enjoy teaching. So, this week I'll be mustering up some geeky help, to make it happen!
Still receiving emails from round the globe, and they're keeping Fr. Tony busy. WE can't thank you enough for all your support and kindness! Your continued prayers and emails will get us through the bumpy road that lies before us.
Ever grateful
Patricia
