PICC LINES AND HOSPITAL "CARE"

Grumble, Grumble, Mutter, Mutter



Just got a call from our Tony, while waiting for his new PJ's to dry...
It seems his PICC line came out last night... ugh... poor guy.


Me thinks the guys who came and moved him yesterday, pulled it loose.
While trying to get his bed through the door, Tony felt a hard tug on his arm... they'd caught his IV tubes between the door jam and bed.... We didn't think there was a problem, but obviously there was. This morning they're re-doing the PICC line, and cleaning up the blood he lost during the night! Geeeeeeeeeez!


Were it not for our little flock and herd here at home, I'd sleep at the hospital.. so I could keep a better eye on things!


Did I mention the food crumbs and smudge on his food tray... day one....????

OR

Did I mention the goo on the electrical cords??? Ewwww!!!

...and these chemo patients are supposed to be in "spick and span" clean environments!

Well.. I did it!
I've begun to grumble about the hospital. Please forgive me!
Must get to hospital and wipe everything down with my new LARGE container of disinfecting wipes! grin
