Is it? Was it? Could it be?
OY.... will they ever figure out what dear Tony has roaming about in his body? The good news is he's managed to go more then 24 hours without a fever. Yesterday, the doc mentioned we could have a irregular type of pheumonia going on. Tony does have a bit of congestion, but who knows. He's still swollen a bit, in his hands, and his belly is swollen up like a balloon... Guess all that hot air is catching up to him, aye?
The crew came in to check him over today, and go over the list of symptoms currently present. He's got blotchy areas on his face, so they were to send a dermatologist in to see him. As they can't figure out what was causing the fever, they were sending in an infectious disease specialist. It seems he arrived, looked Tony over, and said they weren't sure what was going on, and as far as he was concerned... Tony could go home! Sheeesh, I should think our Dr. Craig would make THAT decision!
Of course, Tony's quite tired of being in the hospital, but on the other hand, I'd prefer him there.. where they can keep an eye on him, till they figure out what's ailing him. But, what do I know?!! Tony's dear friend Greg came to visit Tony last night. (a meeting of the Brits club) I think they both enjoyed each other's company very much! Oh, and Tony got a call from Clermont-Ferrand, France!!! Our David Marker, Tony's former Sr. Warden, called to check up on him. I hope David knows how much that call meant to Tony. Although we're growing quite fond of little ole Morgantown, I don't think anything can match how wonderful it was to live in France, and particularly in the Auvergne region. Ohhhhh, the fresh cheeeese, bread, fruits, veges.......... and particularly wonderful Americans (and Brits) living there.
Back to stitching more snaps in his PJs... will check back in this evening. Almost forgot... I crocheted a little cat toy for Dr. Craig's new adoptee. He called Tony last night, beeeeming, about how his kitty was going nuts with the new catnip toy. It's amazing how a simple little mint plant can cause a cat to go into fits of hysteria! grin ugh...Must stop Daisy, as she's chewing far too many holes in my shirt! hrumph!
