Fr. Tony: Second Round of Rituxan (2 of 4),
Busy Day Tomorrow,
Promised Photos: Quilt and Mac Monkey...

Will keep this short, as it's getting on to midnight.

Fr. Tony: 2nd Round of Rituxan

Tomorrow morning Fr. Tony will be at the cancer center all day, getting infused with his second round of Rituxan. As the past week has been on the more uncomfortable (fevers, leg and foot pain, swollen eyes) side of things, he's not looking forward to another infusion. Hopefully, his post chemo reactions will be less, as the next 3 infusions are administered. Please do continue to keep him in your prayers.

Busy Day:

Tomorrow, after dropping Fr. Tony off at Cancer Center, I'll head over to MTEC to register for my Math for Meds, Medical Terminology and Woodworking classes. I'm also signing Tony up for an oil painting class. It's only one evening a week, for a couple of hours, lasting a month. It'll be a nice break, I think... and a way to get out of the house to do something he enjoys, without being around too many people.

After signing up for classes, it's back home to fix some lunch to deliver to Tony, while he's tethered to his chemo. Then, not long after lunch I'm meeting a friend for my first day of walking... one of my new resolutions (well, and to help get the blood pressure in check)... walking three days a week! Rain or Shine!

Promised Photos:

The first image is of the quilt I made Abbey for Christmas. It's actually called a Rag Quilt, and over time will have more frayed seams. The quilt pieces are all sewn with the seams facing out, instead of being buried inside the quilt. Each time the quilt is washed and dried, the seams become more and more frayed. Nice 3D affect.

Second Images is the Sock Monkey (SuperMac) made for Lee.

Time for bed. Night, all.
