Fr. Tony Update: A Holy Week for the record books...

I do believe this is probably a not so welcome "first" for Tony. Because of the pain meds, drowsiness, and ankle pain, Tony's not been able to wonder from the house. The meds are so strong, it's all he can do to be awake and aware, for any length of time. Attending Holy Week services has been impossible, and something our Tony misses greatly. Fortunately, this evening Faith+ brought Tony and I communion. It was so nice of her to pay us a visit. I'm hoping to have him able to attend church on Easter Sunday.

Next week we push forward with the next round of chemo. We hope and pray this ankle business will subside soon. Please do keep Tony in your prayers. This is a very difficult time for him. If you happened to get an email from him that made no sense..... he's not lost his mind, he's simply doped up and making a valient effort to communicate.

Megan called from Thailand this morning, to give us some excellent news. She's been accepted into the Masters Degree program at Oregon State University!!! She'll be working towards a masters in Public Health. We couldn't be more excited for her!!! GO MEGAROOO!!!
