CORRECTION AND CHANGE OF PLANS:
I've been corrected. Not sure how I understood that Rev. Thornton had been at the conference with Tony, but it seems she wasn't. But, she is at Ruby Resort, so please do send your well wishes and keep her in your prayers. This must be a very difficult time for her and her family.
CHANGE OF PLANS:
Our Londoner doctor (Dr. Graber's colleague) came in to check on Tony this morning. During the night one of the tubes fell out. This morning, the other 3 tubes were inched a bit further out, but not all the way. Doc wants Tony to stay in hospital one more day, which is probably very wise. If they rush pulling out the tubes, Tony risks trapping pockets of whatever, that could land up infected. We don't want any more infections! So, they'll be releasing him tomorrow instead.
As you can imagine, Tony's a bit disappointed with this news, but we agree it's for the best. This will give me another day to make sure the house is well prepared for his return, and give me a chance to get the cars sorted out.
I'll take a break from swabbing the decks to go pay him a visit this afternoon. He's able to check his email, so if you'd like to send him a note, I'm sure that will help keep him busy.. distracting him a bit. I know he enjoys hearing from you all, no matter how near or far away. Helps keep his spirits up.
